Demi-oeuf d'autruche gravé et peint, fixé dans un caisson et éclairé. L'oeuf a été travaillé dans l'épaisseur, pour mettre en relief le motif du drakkar. L'éclairage est sur pile, avec un interrupteur sur le côté du cadre.

Carved half ostrich egg, fixed in a box and illuminated. The box, American box style, is also painted by Jean-François. The lighting is battery operated, with a switch on the side of the frame.
